Professional and Personal Interests
Dr. Mangis is a practicing a clinical psychologist and with Heartland Counseling in Elburn, Illinois. He is co-founder and Executive Director of the Center for Rural Psychology (www.ruralpsych.org) and founding member of the Chicago Area Christian Training Consortium (CACTC.org).

Dr. Mangis' research interests include integration of psychology and theology, applications of contemplative Christian spirituality, psychoanalytic psychology, rural psychology, and gender studies.
