Professional and Personal Interests
My interests and major focus of research has been in the areas of high-risk families, attachment theory (particularly as it relates to our relationship with God), and gender issues. I am vice chair of an inner city organization that services minority teenage moms and their babies.

I enjoy my family; my little granddaughter is a joy. In addition, I enjoy reading novels, running, and weaving. My family and I worship with a growing congregation in the suburbs. Our church is very involved in social justice issues, e.g., feeding the poor, advocating for the marginalized.
