David E. Johnston
Senior Vice President - Finance

Dr. Johnston has served as vice president of the College since 1977. He also served one academic year (1995-96) as acting Provost. In his role as Senior Vice President, he is responsible for the business and financial affairs of the College.

A former Wheaton student, Dr. Johnston earned his B.A. degree at the University of Cincinnati. He earned his MBA degree from the University of Miami and his Ph.D. from Northwestern University.

He had served on the faculty of the University of Miami and was Executive Vice President at Trinity College in Deerfield before coming to Wheaton.
