Biennial Wheaton College Philosophy Conference
During the Fall Semester every other year, the Philosophy Department organizes a conference addressing timely philosophical issues of interest to Christians in the profession. The conference has played a seminal role in promoting and recognizing the very high level of philosophical discourse taking place among Christian philosophers. McManis Lecture Series
Every third year, the McManis Lecture Series offers the Philosophy Department the opportunity to host both national and international scholars for a series of lectures addressing a specific topic or philosophical issue. These lectures are oriented toward the major and are often accompanied by a course devoted to the topic at hand. This lecture series provides students, once again, with the opportunity to experience first-hand and to interact with the very highest level of scholarship in the field of professional philosophy.

The Center for Applied Christian Ethics
Each Spring
Semester, CACE sponsors the Ethics Trialogue Workshops, involving faculty,
students, and practicing professionals, in order to “forge clearer ethical direction with regard to pressing personal and social issues of the day.” The
Philosophy Department remains very active in these efforts
in matters of topic choice, organization and presentation. For more

Aesthetic Lecture Series
This rotating lecture series allows the Philosophy Department to bring to campus scholars equipped to address concerns and insights salient to the philosophical consideration of the arts.
