Whether you are a parent, grandparent, or sibling, Wheaton College welcomes you to visit your student on campus during Family Weekend, November 2-3, 2007. While there is no registration fee for this event, we ask that you let us know if you plan to attend. Be sure to register by completing the registration form sent with your brochure, or click here to download a copy. Please return by Monday, October 29. Experience Wheaton academics by visiting one of your son’s or daughter’s classes. A list of classes accepting visitors will be provided at the Family Weekend Welcome Center.
Family Weekend Welcome Center
8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. | Coray Alumni Gym Lobby, Beamer Student Center
Stop by the Family Weekend Welcome Center to register and share a cup of coffee or hot cider with the Parents Council, purchase tickets for the President’s Prayer Breakfast, pick up nametags, a detailed Family Weekend schedule, a campus map, an area restaurant guide, and more.
Face to Face: Warner Sallman’s Images of Christ
9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. | Billy Graham Center Museum
From charcoal drawings to oil paintings, and even wallet cards issued to soldiers during World War II, artist Warner Sallman’s depictions of Jesus Christ can be found in households worldwide. The Billy Graham Center Museum is celebrating Chicago native Sallman’s work with a stirring temporary exhibit. The museum will also be open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Seminar: “Helping Your Child Prepare for Life After Wheaton”
3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. | Phelps Room, Beamer Student Center (lower level)
Career Services Director, Ita Fischer, will give a workshop and Q&A session on how parents can encourage their students to start thinking of their future, and how to help them discern their calling. Fischer will introduce parents to the resources that students (and alumni) have available to them, as well as share some encouraging hiring statistics. Help your students get a start on their “life after Wheaton,” and learn how you can be a part of the life planning process by coming to this informative and fun workshop.

Stop by the Family Weekend Welcome Center to register, purchase last-minute tickets for the President’s Prayer Breakfast (if available), pick up nametags, a detailed Family Weekend schedule, a campus map, an area restaurant guide, and more.
President’s Prayer Breakfast
9:00 a.m. | Coray Alumni Gym, Beamer Student Center
Gather with other Wheaton College parents for breakfast and a time of scripture reading and prayer. Hear from Wheaton’s Parents Council and President Litfin. Tickets are $10.00 for adults, and $6.00 for children 18 years or under. Children ages four and under are admitted at no charge. Since this is a catered event, Wheaton College students are not admitted under their meal plan.
