Koinonia
Koinonia
is the Greek word for "fellowship," an integral part
of our Christian lives. By practicing Koinonia, believers get
to know each other, love each other, and bring glory to the
Lord. We are devoted to the Asian-American community on campus.
First, Koinonia strives to aid and enhance the spiritual growth
of its members. Second, Koinonia serves as a channel to help
all ethnicities experience fellowship and learn about
Asian culture and spirituality. Koinonia is not an exclusively
Asian group and is excited and encouraged to see non-Asians
share in fellowship.
Koinonia shares OMD's vision for the Wheaton student body and faculty to be a brilliant reflection of the kingdom of Heaven. Koinonia is a stepping stone available to anyone who wants to embark towards this goal.
The 2007-2008 cabinet is Sandra Jin - President, Anita Lin
- Administrator, Sam Kim - Business Manager, Johnny Kim - VP
for Fellowship, Chris Lee - VP for Outreach, Jenny Hawn - Publicity
Coordinator. Feel free to check the Koinonia
website for updates regarding events.
