President Duane Litfin is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Dale A. Kemp (MBA, CPA) as Vice President for Finance at Wheaton College.
In his role at Wheaton, Mr. Kemp will be responsible to the President for the management and conduct of the business and financial affairs of the College, including Student Financial Aid, Human Resources, Investments and Trusts, Accounting and Purchasing, the operation and maintenance of Wheaton’s physical plant, and auxiliary enterprises.
Mr. Kemp comes to Wheaton from a long and broad career in finance, banking, and real estate, most recently serving as CFO and Executive Vice President for KB Urban in Los Angeles after a 16-year career as Executive Vice President and CFO for MBK Real Estate in Irvine.
Mr. Kemp and his wife Susan are the parents of two Wheaton graduates (Tim ’04 and James ’09), and a current student, Andrew ’11. They have served as members of Wheaton’s Parents Council, and have hosted events in their home for high school students interested in attending Wheaton. They also are the parents of two daughters: Masha, who attends California State University at Fullerton, and Vera, who will move to Wheaton with them.
