Derek Webb to perform at Wheaton College

Derek Webb, contemporary Christian singer/songwriter, to perform at Wheaton CollegeCritically acclaimed Singer/Songwriter Derek Webb will perform at Wheaton College’s Coray Alumni Gymnasium at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 27.

Webb first entered the music industry in 1993 as a member of Caedmon's Call, a contemporary Christian band that has won 3 GMA Dove Awards, and had six #1 Christian radio hits. In 2003, he also began a solo career. The 33 year old is known for lyrical meditations delivered with charm and humor, and fearless songwriting. He takes on difficult subjects like ethics, politics, and personal integrity with a disarming vulnerability that his fans love and appreciate.

This concert is sponsored by the Wheaton College student group, College Union. College Union organizes informal, out-of-the-classroom events such as concerts, dances, and weekly coffeehouses for the campus community.

Coray Auditorium is located at 421 North Chase Street in Wheaton. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are available now at the Wheaton College bookstore, through itickets.com, John’s Christian Store (Carol Stream) or by calling 800.965.9324.
