Wheaton College’s Hastert Center for Economics, Government, and Public Policy offers two lectures presented by E. Floyd Kvamme on Wednesday, October 29. Since 2001, Kvamme has served as Co-Chair of President George W. Bush's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. Kvamme is Partner Emeritus at venture capital firm Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield, and Byers.
His first lecture, titled “Venture Capital and Innovation,” takes place at 9:15 a.m. A second lecture at 11:30 a.m. is titled “The Political Economy of Information Technology: East Asia and the role of China.” Both events are free and open to the public and will be held in the Phelps Room of the Todd M.
