Wheaton College’s Community School of the Arts hosts an Arts in the Morning seminar Monday, October 20. Composed of principal players of the DuPage Symphony Orchestra, the repertoire includes quintet classics, transcriptions of orchestral pieces, and arrangements of folk tunes and pop songs. The performance features commentary about the music, instrument demonstrations and audience Q&A.
The seminar will be held from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. in Barrows Auditorium (campus map), located in the east wing of the Billy Graham Center at 500 College Avenue in Wheaton. The cost is $10 or $15 with a continental breakfast included. Groups of eight or more are eligible for a discounted rate. For more information, call the Community School of the Arts at 630.752.5567.
