After Margaret and Kenneth were married and as they prepared for the mission field and awaited their assignment, they were told some important advice from a seasoned missionary, which would ring true for them in later years.  They were told, much to their disbelief that the most difficult trouble that they will encounter would be with their fellow missionaries.  This surprised them a great deal.  However, it proved true.  Kenneth related that he had nothing to fear about dirty politics when he went to work in Washington because he had seen the worst of it on the field.
