Among 200 or so other writings, published and unpublished, are Primer on Social Economics (1971) used in such diverse settings as an American Indian reservation in South Dakota and adult learning programs in New York City. Many appeared in academic and popular journals, official reports, newsletters, magazines and newspapers, and as booklets, research reports, monographs (First Steps Toward Economic Understanding, 1966, more than 10,000 copies distributed by an educational foundation and other organizations; Anatomy of Free Enterprise, 1963, with Thomas Jefferson's quote: "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free / It expects what never was and never will be;" and the aesthetically gratifying and lucid Manpower Education in a Growing Economy, 1968). A number of these are preserved in Special Collection 76 at Wheaton College's Buswell Memorial Library.
