The John J. Coleman diary numbers 96 pages in a leather binding, now disattached at the covers. Each page contains Coleman's script. The book measures 3 X 5 1/2. His handwriting is legible as he engaginly relates daily life at Wheaton College during the years in which he attended, 1886-89.
