Steps to Admission for Undergraduate Students

Wheaton does not offer a special English program for international students. If English is not the student's native language, he or she must demonstrate proficiency in English. Click here for information regarding English proficiency requirements.

Wheaton is a liberal arts college. We do not offer degrees in technical or vocational fields. Wheaton College offers the Bachelor of Arts and the Bachelor of Science degrees. The Conservatory of Music offers the Bachelor of Music and the Bachelor of Music Education. Please be sure that we offer the degree and major you want before you apply. Education Requirements

1. Proof of English Proficiency.

2. Certificate showing completion of secondary education and/or results of examination taken at completion of studies

Additional information may be requested.

Financial Requirements

Students are responsible for financing their own education. Funds for a full year must be secured before an I-20 allowing entrance into the United States will be issued. Please see the items enclosed for additional information.

Other Information

International students will be admitted for the fall semester only. The fall semester begins in late August.

The deadline for submitting an undergraduate application is March 1 for international applicants transferring from a college or university in the U.S. The application deadline is January 10 for international students applying as freshmen or transferring from a college or university outside the U.S.
