Read
and carefully consider the IDS Handbook. |

STEP
2: |
After
reading the IDS Handbook, fill out the electronic version
of the IDS Questionnaire. |

|
| |
STEP
3: |
Have
a consultation with the IDS Director to discuss your
proposed Program of Study. Then meet with discipline
advisors for appropriate course selection. |

|
| |
STEP
4: |
Fill
out the IDS Information Release Form and submit it
to the Registrar. |
| |
|
|
| |
STEP
5: |
Complete
and send an electronic version of the IDS Reflective
Essays and proposed Program of Study to the IDS Department
for acceptance to the major. Complete Course list. |

|
|
| |
STEP
6: |
Upon
acceptance, immediately complete and submit the Declaration
of Major Form to your former advisor/department for
transfer of information. |

|
| |
STEP
7: |
Sign
up for the IDS Independent Study course (IDS 495) — just
prior to your Senior Seminar. |

|
|
| |
STEP
8: |
Submit
your Project Précis at the end of your Independent
Study (IDS 495). |

|
| |
STEP
9: |
Review
and complete all courses in your approved (with signature)
Program of Study and Course Completion List. |
| |
|
|
| |
STEP
10: |
Enroll
in the Senior Seminar (IDS 494) the spring of your
final year at Wheaton. This course is a priority. Please
schedule it accordingly. |
