Dear Wheaton Students:

Welcome to you all as the new academic year of 2007-2008 begins!

The mission of Student Health Services is to promote wellness, wholeness, and community. To this end, we offer many services at low or no cost. I invite you to check out the rest of our website to better understand our medical services, insurance, and billing.

Student Health Services hours are as follows:
Regular clinic hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 AM- 5:00PM and Saturdays 11:00AM- 1:00PM. There is a fully serviced walk-in clinic and medical provider appointments available.

Student Health Services has a comprehensive inventory of vaccinations. I would strongly recommend you to get a meningococcal vaccine if you have not already had one! Meningitis is a rare, but serious bacterial illness that can be disabling and potentially fatal. The CDC recommends this vaccine for students living in dormitory settings.

Student Health Services has many services ranging from allergy shots (after seen by allergist), laboratory, rapid strep test, rapid mono test, hemoglobin quick test, loaning of medical equipment and more.

Check out the rest of the Website for more information about insurance, billing, medical providers and nurses.
If you have any questions about our services, or your health, please contact us!

Sincerely,
Britt Black RN, BSN
Director, Student Health Services
