H1N1 FLU (SWINE FLU) UPDATE:

Wheaton College Student Health Services is monitoring the serious health situation created by the emergence of the H1N1 Influenza viral infection ("swine flu"). While there are no confirmed cases on campus at this time, we are working with the DuPage County Health Department and are prepared to act quickly should the need arise.

Wheaton students are encouraged to have a nurse at Student Health Services evaluate them if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms.

The Centers for Disease Control website offers the most reliable information regarding H1N1 flu. If you have questions concerning H1N1, please visit www.cdc.gov/swineflu. The Illinois Public Health Department monitors the numbers of probable and confirmed cases Illinois (www.idph.state.il.us/swine_flu/index.htm).
