Wheaton in Spain

Wheaton In Spain is a summer program which combines language study and practice, cultural immersion, travel, and a brief service project. It provides Christian students a unique opportunity to become familiar with the culture and language of Spain. (Participants agree to speak only Spanish with each other throughout the program's duration.) Students may earn up to 10 hours of credit toward the Spanish major or minor. The program fulfills the study abroad requirement for the Spanish major at Wheaton College.

The following is information on the 2008 trip to Spain:

The Price
: approximately US$7,200 : includes tuition (8 hours; Span 489 requires a $200 lab fee), group land travel in Spain, excursions, lodging, and meals. (Airfare not included. Note that the program begins in Madrid and ends in Barcelona.) We recommend a minimum of $500 for personal expenses and souvenirs.
