State Scholarships Residents of IL, PA, VT, RI, AK, DE Varies, IL maximum $4,869 Must apply separately by state deadline. IL residents apply by completing FAFSA by August 15
Federal Stafford Loan Demonstrated need Up to $3500 as Freshmen,
$4,500 as Sophomores, and
$5,500 as Juniors or Seniors
Fixed interest rate at 6.8%, repayment begins after graduation or if student goes below full-time status, provided by banks or other lending institutions
Federal Perkins Loan Demonstrated high need $2,000 max. for Freshmen,
$1500 max. for Sophomores,
$1000 max. for Juniors and Seniors
5% interest rate. Repayment begins after graduation, or if student goes below full-time status. Up to 10 years to pay back.
Wheaton College Revolving Loan Provisions same as Perkins (except for loan cancellation provisions and loan forbearance) Amount varies 5% interest rate. Repayment begins after graduation. Up to 10 years to pay back.
