Types of Financial Aid

Wheaton believes the primary responsibility for funding a student's education rests with the parents and students. Financial aid is designed to help complement the family's ability to pay the cost. Because Wheaton is committed to assisting students to be able to attend, the majority of the funds are designated to help meet the need of the student.

The best possible financial aid package will be developed based on the information that was provided to determine the student's eligibility for aid, and the funds available to award. To do this, we need to fully utilize grants as well as loan opportunities made available by the federal government, and supplement with institutional funds.
