Professional and Personal Interests

I'm primarily interested in contemporary American literature, African American literature, and southern literature. But lately I've been investigating fiction's response to posthumanism, specifically in the area of biotechnology. So I spend a lot of time thinking about cyborgs, cylons, terminators, and the like. For more information on what I'm reading, visit www.drchristinascorner.blogspot.com/
When I'm not working, I'm watching Chicago Bears football.
