Professional and Personal Interests
Dr. Seibert's professional training, industry experience (with three Fortune 500 firms), and research experience all involve the human dimension of business. His most extensive work has been in the area of employee and management training and development, stemming from an interest in helping people realize their full potential at work. His current emphasis is on the integration of faith and work in a business context. This includes consideration of systemic marketplace issues such as stewardship, service, justice, and job design as well as individual issues of calling and of how people express their faith with integrity at work. At present he is studying Nantucket Quakers of the 18th century whaling industry and recent college graduates' experience integrating their faith in a business career. Dr. Seibert's passion is to help people in the marketplace develop and utilize their God-given abilities in the service of others.

Dr. Seibert is married and has two young girls. His wife, Donna, (also Dr. Seibert, M.D.) currently works as a full-time homemaker and home school teacher. They are active in their church and work together as a family in community ministries. For fun they enjoy board games, nature walks, day trips to Chicago, visiting out-of-state family, and time at the beach (especially if it's in New England).
