Scope and Content
This collection consists of a microfilm copy of the following printed documents: minutes of annual meetings of the Baptist General Convention's Indian and Oklahoma Territories, 1896, 1901-1907, including also minutes of the Women's Baptist Missionary Society, 1896, 1900, 1904-1907; minutes include copies of the Constitution, agenda, annual reports of committees, amounts of pledges, reports of the Sunday School Committee, names of delegates to the meetings, a report on temperance (1901), report of the Baptist Minister's Union, lists of ordained Baptist preachers, obituaries, and details concerning work with American Indians. Originals were filmed by Historical Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Provenance
The materials for this collection were received by the Center in July 1986 from the Billy Graham Center Library, which purchased the microfilm.
