Contains biographical data on colleagues; subscribers' lists to periodicals; financial accounts; brief descriptions of events; notes of activities; proposed articles, etc. Original microfilmed by the Historical Commission of the Southern Baptist Church. There are no restrictions on this collection.

Scope and Content

This collection consists of a microfilm of a journal, 1840s-1857, kept by John Mason Peck describing his ministry in former Illinois territory. Contains biographical data on colleagues, subscription lists of periodicals, financial accounts, description of events, activities, proposals, and other data. Original filmed by the Historical Commission of the Southern Baptist Church.
