Restrictions
Restrictions on the use of this collection lifted 5-14-81.
All materials in this collection are on deposit from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and may not be copied without written permission from the BGEA.
Any researcher who wishes to request permission must get the required form from the Archives staff. It is the responsibility of the researcher to fill out the form and send it to the BGEA.
Scope and Content
This collection consists of thirty phonograph records given to the Archives by the BGEA. Not all of the records were produced by the BGEA, however. The collection contains several records from a BGEA series in which the record vinyl is over a picture suitable for hanging or playing. These items include messages from Billy Graham, and songs by George Beverly Shea and crusade choirs.
Other albums contain music from other BGEA team members such as Paul Mickelson, Tedd Smith, Cliff Barrows, and Grady Wilson. There are also three albums with messages and music from various Leighton Ford crusades. There is one album entitled "Our Family Favorites" with a personal message by Billy Graham. The album contains musical selections by several artists (please see separation record in this guide).
Albums not related to the BGEA include artists and evangelists such as Tom Watson Jr., Barry Moore, Hubert Mitchell, and Harvey Schroeder. For detailed information on the material available on each album, please consult the location record of this guide.
Provenance
Materials in this collection were received in the Archives from the BGEA and
