At the lower right corner was an envelope which contained cards that could be mailed in to reserve seats for groups at particular crusade services. A vigorous and continuing effort was made to encourage groups from churches or other institutions to make group reservations. Most of these were from the New York metropolitan area, but usually every night there were some groups from farther away or even half way across the country. These groups always made up about half of the audience on any given night, except for special events. |
