| Letter from Dan M. Potter to Willis Haymaker, January 25, 1955. Potter was executive director of the Protestant Council of the City of New York. Haymaker was crusade director for the BGEA and usually served as the advance man for major crusades. This letter was a follow-up on conversations which members of the Council had with Billy Graham and Jerry Beaven and one in a series of contacts that finally resulted in the BGEA accepting an invitation from the Council on December 9-10 of the same year.
