| Letter from Billy Graham to the Executive Committee of the Greater New York Evangelistic Campaign. May 29, 1951. In 1950, a non-denomina-tional committee formed to invite the BGEA to hold a campaign in New York 1952. After several meetings between Association staff and the committee, the Association (after initially and tentatively approving the idea) decided against it. Graham and others in the BGEA did not feel ready yet to go to New York. See enlarged version of 3-page letter. |
