Many mission agencies, after they have decided to do something to preserve their historical records, hesitate because they are not sure how to start. If so, this list may be of help. It consists of people who are archivists or people involved in the preservation of church history. This list is not intended as an endorsement or recommendation, but everyone on it has indicated that they would be
willing to offer informal advice and perhaps other assistance to mission agencies,
particularly nondenominational mission agencies, that are looking into how to
care for their own archives. If you would like the help of one or more of these people, please contact them directly and let them know where you got their name.

no longer exists.] There is also a listserv that has been created
especially for mission agencies that are thinking about starting archives, as
well as researchers who would like to use mission archives and people charged
with managing mission archives. To join the listserv, a person just needs to send
