"Yes, she [Ruth Mellis] had a long, full life. I was privileged to be able to know her & can vouch for her reputation for purity, godliness, practicality, & perseverance in following up on even small matters when necessary. What else can I say? Thank you, Wheaton College, for archiving her fruitful life." E-mail from Dorcas commenting on her friendship with Ruth Mellis (shown above) and her collection of papers in the Archives. Mellis died January 15, 2007 just a few months short of her 100th birthday.

"You did a great job. It really met A LOT to the people especially those from NZ [New Zealand]. The others who are more local also plan to return. So, it really was successful. Thanks." Message from a pastor about a visit of a group of Christian workers who had been attending a conference at his church.

"Thank you for sending me regular updates of your website. It is wonderful to see on video the story of Naaman by Cliff Barrow. A very powerful message." E-mail from a Singaporean, referring to the Archives E-mail list and to the bulletin board for April.

"Thank you for your help in my research on the life of W. B. Riley. I would say that our presentation was well received, and part of that was certainly due to the research at the Billy Graham Archives Center." Note about photos and a film clip he used in a DVD production (W. B. Riley: Battle for the Truth) for Maranatha Baptist Bible College.

"How can I thank you enough for the information you have researched and sent to me? And you even have typed out the words to the hymn: "A Missionary Cry"! I do treasure all the information you have sent and will share it with friends. My sincere thank you for all your efforts. I really appreciate this more than I can say." E-mail from an inquirer who was looking for the lyrics to the hymn. Wayne not only found the lyrics but also the print music.

"Hi again all, and thanks again for the definitely cool site! This is the second time I have found exactly the materials I was looking for. Thanks a lot!" E-mail from Web site visitor.

"Thank you very much for sending this information along. I am grateful for the extra time you spent on my behalf, and I am glad to have received these documents. I am actually surprised it took me so long to think to google this info (and thus find your archives) considering I have been researching Leighton's whereabouts off and on for the last eight years. I have a translation of a eulogy that a Chinese general whom Leighton healed gave at his funeral, along with a photo of his tombstone, but it has been tricky piecing together concrete information. ...Anyway, thank you again for your efforts on my behalf. It was quite generous of you. Best wishes." E-mail from person who asked for information about the death of his great granduncle, Dr. Leighton P. Rand, a China Inland Missionary at the Borden Memorial Hospital in Lanchow.

"Thank you for posting this article on the Internet. Reading this article-- an interview--brought back many warm memories. My father was a Christian & Missionary Alliance pastor for at least 47 years and now deceased. Many of the stories related in this interview I had also heard from my own father many years ago. What a joy to read this article. Many Thanks!" E-mail from a woman referring to the audio files of the interviews of Merrill Dunlop in Collection 50 which the Archives staff put online in April. She heard about this because she had requested to be put on the Archive’s e-mail list, which informs people about new collections, additions to our website and events at the Archives.

"I much enjoyed my visit to Wheaton, and greatly valued the opportunity to consult the material on Victor Plymire and Robert Ekvall. The photographs were especially interesting. There is quite a bit to digest, and I'll go on thinking about what I discovered, and re-reading my notes." E-mail from person who worked in the Manuscript Reading Room.

"This is such an awesome collection of information on Reverend Consuella York. Unfortunately, I never met her face-to-face; only television, but she inspired my life so much. I have desired to relish an anointing and purpose-filled life as she had. She was a force to be reckoned with. Thank you for honoring this Woman of God in such a way that many shall know her as the Sojourner Truth of Christendom." E-mail from person who had viewed the Consuella York collection description at the Archives Web site.

"THANK YOU SO MUCH! You guys are the absolute best!" Message from staff member at The Moody Church, who needed verification of a marriage conducted by Pastor Harry Ironside in 1940.
