Classes: Session prepared for a group in the Reading Room (Starting in 2006, there were no classes held in the Reading Room)

Inter-Library Loan: Material loaned by the BGC Archives to another archives and library for the use of one of their patrons.

Presentations: Session prepared for a group outside of the Reading Room (Starting in 2006, all sessions were held outside the Reading Room. Many were held next door in the Archival Seminar Room)

Personal Contacts: Assistance given by staff to a researcher on a one-to-one basis outside the Reading Room (until 1993, if a staff member gave a presentation that 20 people attended, that was counted as 20 personal contacts)
