Bishop Timothy Dudley-Smith in part based his monumental two-volume biography of Evangelical leader and theologian John R. W. Stott on dozens of interviews with Stott's friends, family and colleagues, besides twenty-one tapes of interviews with Stott himself. After the book was published, the bishop donated the audio tapes and interview transcripts to Oak Hill College in London. In 2003, through Dudley-Smith's generosity and the kindness of Oak Hill, the Archives was able to make copies of all these tapes and papers. Bob (above) looked over the tapes when they arrived at the Archives in August.
