This 1965 letter from the unprocessed files of the Africa Inland Mission provided an update of how the volatile political realities of nations in Africa affected the work of AIM missionaries to "Applicants for Missionary Service." AIM Associate General Secretary, A.B. Holm, encouraged "that there be no 'dallying in the path,'" and asked each applicant to inform him of his or her training status and plans.
