W. J. (Max) Maxheim of Des Moines, Iowa was a professional photographer who took pictures of dozens of pastors, evangelists, radio ministers, authors, Gospel musicans, etc., in the early 1950s. Below are
two of his images from 1951. On the left is Gospel singer Stuart Hamblen
(The photo was used on the cover of the sheet music for a couple of
Hamblen's songs.) On the right is evangelist B. M. Nottage. Notice Maxheim's proof mark on the bottom of this photo.
