Biography

Missionary; born, 1813; sent by London Missionary Society to South Africa, 1840; began well-known four year, six thousand mile journey, 1852; led expedition of Zambezi region which included discovery of Victoria Falls, 1857; died, 1873.

Scope and Content

Letter written by Livingstone to John Kirk laying down some of the conditions of an expedition they were planning to Africa.
