Chris & Rebecca Vogt with son David

Christopher Vogt graduated from Wheaton College in 2005 with a BA in Christian Formation and Bible. He and his wife, Rebecca, and son David left for Uganda on Jun 1, 2008 to work with New Hope Uganda, a ministry dedicated to the care and defense of the orphans. For Chris, the desire to work among the fatherless began during a semester in India.

Chris and Rebecca met at Wheaton College and were amazed at how God aligned both of their passions for missions and orphans together.  After spending eight months working with orphans in Uganda in 2007, it was made clear to them that they were to return long term after the birth of their first child, David.

Together they are helping to care for the children who live onsite at Kasana Children’s Centre outside of Luweero, Uganda. Chris is also assisting the director of the Institute of Childcare and Family.
