Scholarship Recipient George & Helen Bennett Fund for Missionary Service   Rachel Kornfield graduated from Wheaton College in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Since the age of five, Rachel lived in Brazil with her family who has served with One Challenge International (OC International). Speaking Portuguese fluently will facilitate the ministry she anticipates as she has returned home to Brazil to follow God’s call upon her life. Her goals are to 1) work part-time alongside her parents who provide mentoring and training for Brazilian pastors, 2) research the literature of how Brazilian culture and the Church address social justice issues, and 3) serve as a youth leader in her home church in Brazil.
