August 2008 -- The AHS department is please to announce the arrival of two new faculty members. Dr. Susan Vendeland and Dr. Brian Hunt will be joining our team this fall. Dr. Vendeland is coming to us from the state of Washington. Her area of expertise is within epidemiology, public health and nutrition. She will be working with the Urban Studies program to develop our new Urban Public Health concentration. She will be teaching Concepts in Epidemiology and Public Health Physical Activity Promotion. Dr. Hunt is coming to us from the University of Massachusetts. His area of expetise is human physiology. Dr. Hunt will be teaching our Integrative Human Physiology, Applied Physiology and Cardiovascular Evaluation and Prescription courses.
