BannerWEB
Information
BannerWEB is the secure website for Wheaton College. Enrolled
students log on to BannerWEB in order to register for courses,
check their grades, and perform other internet-based activities
that require a secure connection.
For accepted students, there is information available on BannerWEB
that will help make your college enrollment decision easier.
For this reason, we have set up an account for your use on our
website.
We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this important
resource, especially if you are applying for financial aid.
Your financial aid award will be available on BannerWEB
before you receive the information through the mail. Should
you choose to enroll as a student at Wheaton, you will be able to use even more features of BannerWEB, such as registering for classes and checking your grades. This account will be a vital communications tool between you and the Wheaton College administration.
By logging on to Wheaton’s secure “BannerWEB”
pages, you will be able to:
- Access up-to-date financial aid information as soon as
your financial aid award is determined.
- Look up any transfer or AP credit by accessing your academic
transcript.
- Look up course information and availability—schedule,
class size, number of seats remaining, and course closures.
- View your current class schedule (after enrolling and registering
at Wheaton).
- Check the current status of your student account, and view
an up-to-date bill.
- Review your current mailing address, to ensure that your
correspondence is sent to the correct location.
To log on to BannerWEB:
- Go to the BannerWEB menu at bannerweb.wheaton.edu.
Or, go to the Wheaton College home
page and select BannerWEB from the "More Quick Links"
drop-down menu on the left.
- On the BannerWEB menu, select Enter Secure Area.
- Enter the following information:
- User ID: On your acceptance letter,
you will see your assigned Wheaton College ID number.
It is the five-digit number that is located above your
name. Please keep this ID number in a safe place, since
you will need to use this number every time you log on
to BannerWEB.
- PIN: A temporary Personal Identification Number (PIN) has been created for you. This PIN, valid only for the first time you log on to BannerWEB, will be mailed to you separately from your acceptance packet. When you receive your PIN in the mail, you will be able to log on to BannerWEB.
- Click Login.
- If you are logging in for the first time, the next screen
will notify you that your PIN has expired and will ask you
to enter a new PIN. Enter your temporary PIN, then enter the new PIN of your choice
in the next two boxes. Your new PIN must be different from
the temporary PIN, must be at least six characters long, may
be composed of letters and/or numbers, and is case-sensitive.
Please select your new PIN with care—it is crucial that
you create a PIN that you will be able to remember. Write
down your PIN and keep it in a secure location.
- After you enter your new PIN, you will be asked to enter
a security question and answer. This question will be used
to allow you to access your account in the event that you
forget your PIN. For this reason, please use a question that
you will readily know the answer to, but that casual acquaintances
will not know. Enter the question of your choice (some examples:
What is your mother’s maiden name?, You were born in
what city?, etc.), and then enter the answer. Please remember,
if you forget your PIN then you will have to be able to type
in this exact answer—so choose a question that you can
answer in only one way!
- Read the Terms of Usage, and then click Continue to accept
the terms and proceed to the main menu. You will only need
to view this screen once, the first time that you log in.
- You have successfully logged on to BannerWEB, and are now
at the main menu. Next, select either Personal Information or Student Services & Financial Aid to view the menus
of information available for your access. Some features will
not be available to you until you enroll as a student.
BannerWEB Tips:
- If you forget your PIN: From the BannerWEB Homepage, select
Enter Secure Area. Click on Forgot PIN?, and enter the answer
to your security question. On the next screen, you will be
prompted to enter a new PIN.
- You may change your PIN or your Security Question at any
time. Log on to your BannerWEB account, then go to the Personal
Information menu and select the menu option for the information
you would like to change.
- For security reasons, please do not share your
ID or PIN with anyone.
