Initiatives advancing Global and Experiential Learning at Wheaton College:
Global Study Programs
Study in a U.S. or international cross-cultural context deepens and broadens a Wheaton education. Options include "Wheaton in" programs in Chicago and abroad, and partner programs in over 30 countries. In addition to the Human Needs and Global Resources program, several departments also offer opportunities for international internships. A competitive student Global Scholar Award is available for students who would like to undertake research or a creative project in an international or cross-cultural setting.
Faculty and Staff Development Programs
Seminars, workshops, and grants are available to equip and support faculty and staff to bring global perspectives into classroom and co-curricular activities. Faculty Global Research Awards provide funding for research in global or cross-cultural contexts.
