2009 Archaeology Lecture Series
Join us as we explore the sources for understanding economic exchange in the ancient world and as we discuss how ancient economies functioned. Our speakers will treat diverse aspects of several ancient economies, from the maritime economy of the Bronze Age state of Ugarit, to the economy of the Persian capital of Persepolis in Iran, to the economic activities under the Ptolemaic Kingdom in Egypt.
