Worship Studies Materials

The documents collected below represent curricular materials I have prepared and taught in the context of the Institute for Worship Studies (see the Bio page on the Biblical & Theological Studies website and the link to www.iwsfla.org).

According to A. W. Tozer, Jesus the Messiah entered human history “in order that He might make worshipers out of rebels; in order that He might restore us again to the place of worship we knew when we were first created. He goes on to vigorously maintain that “worship is the normal employment of human beings” (The Best of A. W. Tozer, p. 217).

Worship of the Triune God of the Bible and worship renewal in the Christian church is based upon sound biblical worship education. The materials gathered below are offered as one component of that worship education designed to prepare us during our earthly “apprenticeship” for an eternity of employment in the worship of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit in the heavenly kingdom (Rev. 7:15).

One thing I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after:to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple
(Psalm 27:4, NRSV).
