Student Care at Wheaton College begins grief counseling for students suffering from loss.
Although it’s not always obvious, some Wheaton College students suffer beneath the surface from the grief caused by losing someone important in their lives. Thunder Women Rewrite Record Books in Win Over North Central
Historic shot breaks or ties five team records.
They were only the eighth, ninth and 10th points of the season for junior guard Bri Graham, but her three-pointer from the left wing with 1:12 left in a 118-78 win over North Central on Saturday, Jan. 26, made history in the Wheaton women’s basketball program. The shot made the score 113-76, and it broke two team records, tied two records and extended one that had been broken exactly one minute earlier. More >
Men's Basketball Sweeps the Past Week
Thunder upset fifth-ranked North Central.
The men’s basketball team headed into this week at 4-3 in the CCIW after a red hot start to the season. However, they knew that their quick start was no fluke. Junior forward Nate Haynes stated that “we knew we could be good” before the season even started. Their 0-2 start to conference play with losses to Illinois Wesleyan and North Central notwithstanding, the Wheaton team went on to win four of their next five conference matchups heading into last week.
