Eight Wheaton seniors will compete in Chicago this Saturday at the College Improv Tournament Nationals.
This Saturday, March 23, eight Wheaton College seniors will head to Chicago to compete in the College Improv Tournament Nationals. After winning the Windy City Regionals in January, Wheaton improv troupe Kids These Days has been invited to compete against 16 troupes from around the country, including schools such as Princeton, Arizona State, Cornell and Johns Hopkins University. Biblical and Theological Studies Department Appoints New Associate Dean
Jeffrey Bingham to take post in Wheaton’s largest department.
Wheaton College’s largest academic department has announced the appointment of a new associate dean of biblical and theological studies. Jeffrey Bingham, the current department chair and professor of theological studies at Dallas Theological Seminary, has accepted the post and will “assume all of the duties of a department chair,” Jill Baumgaertner said in an email. “Dr. Bingham will be a full-time administrator with the faculty rank of professor of theology.” More >
Six Thunder Athletes Compete in NCAAs
Track relay team and two wrestlers make it to Nationals.
The Wheaton men’s distance medley relay (DMR) team participated in the final indoor track meet of the season on Friday, March 8, as they competed in the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships at North Central College. The team of seniors Mark Phillips and Luke Vance and juniors Kyle Williams and James Waterman finished the race with a time of 10:02.01, placing them fifth in the country. More >
Wheaton Softball Starts Their Season Right

Winter is coming to an end, which means that spring is on its way. Spring brings showers and flowers, but even more importantly, it brings softball. The Wheaton softball team started off its season down in Florida. The team traveled to Cape Coral and Fort Myers and won seven of eight games in a span of four days to get its season started on the right note. More >
