What I love about Wheaton:
I love the Christian atmosphere where your faith is being challenged and strengthened all the time.

Why WCF?
What God is doing in the world is awesome. We all need to be aware of the work, intercede for it and join it.

Craziest things I've done:
Spicy pepper contests with my brothers.

I want to...before I die:
Attend a World Cup.

It bothers me when:
It snows in April.

People often say I am:
Laid back.

Administrator

What I love about Wheaton:
I love the people here. It’s so wonderful to be with people who have the same beliefs and have similar passions and interests so that I can grow and learn from them.

Why WCF?
Because while I’m here at Wheaton, I need a way to be a part of what is happening around the world. With WCF I can learn about the power of prayer, get outside of my own little life and care about others even though I don’t necessarily know them, and be praying for the work that the Lord is doing everywhere.

Words to live by:
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. – Ephesians 4:1

I want to...before I die:
Go through a car wash - the kind that you sit in the car and can watch the brushes and soap and water on the windows.

It bothers me when:
I finally get into bed, comfortably under the covers, and then remember I have to get up and do something.

Deborah Kim

Publicity Coordinator

What I love about Wheaton:
The people--from the lovely SAGA ladies who make omelets to President Ryken.

Why WCF?
Because the Gospel is awesome and compels us to love the nations as the Lord does.

Craziest things I've done:
Dip my toes into urban ministry last summer. Now I want to plunge deep into it.

I want to...before I die:
Become fluent in Spanish.

It bothers me when:
My girlfriends watch chickflicks.

It bothers me when:

People often say I am:

Troy de Freitas

Creative Arts Coordinator

What I love about Wheaton:
The sweet bow ties the English profs wear.

Why WCF?
Because God's church is the World church. Being a Christian means being apart of something bigger.

Words to live by:
If you're gonna do something, do it either excellent or awful, never mediocre, because at least if you're awful, then there's some entertainment value.

I want to...before I die:
Endorse someone else's book.

It bothers me when:
People ask me whether the Dominican Republic has video games.

Victoria Johnson

Prayer Coordinator

What I love about Wheaton:
In the joys and challenges, I have always found someone to walk with me along the road here, whether for a brief moment or for a season.  Whether it’s professors, staff members or students, I have been incredibly blessed by the people here.

Why WCF?
I love sitting back and listening to Wheaton students pray together in one voice for a nation or a people group on Sunday nights. I love hearing missionaries speak about the work that is going on in the world, knowing that we are all part of a bigger story that the Lord is writing, but we get to be woven into it.

Words to live by:
One of my friends is always telling me to “have a rigid stance of total flexibility.” Not that I’m good at it, but I aspire to it.

I want to...before I die:
Learn a few indigenous languages.

It bothers me when:
Waitresses still give me kids menus, and I'm older than them.

Childhood Nickname: Haole

What I love about Wheaton:
The people. I've found so many people at Wheaton who earnestly want to know God and to follow Christ's example wholeheartedly. These friends are willing to admit when they fail, and care about me enough to confront and help me when I fail

Why WCF? It's so easy to lose sight of what God is doing around the world. This forgetfulness isn't only true for students at Wheaton College, but is also a common problem within the church. What a blessing to be able to come together during our time at Wheaton to share and celebrate what our Father is doing!

Words to live by: "Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bell; I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell."-Charles Studd

Craziest thing I've done: Worked with my closest friend at a salmon fishing lodge in the Alaskan wilderness. We saw grizzly bears daily, but also caught a ton of salmon!

I want to...before I die: Visit 100 countries.

It bothers me when: people leave Stupe trash in my room.
