Major: International Relations

Position on SG:  Student Body VP

Why SG? I was fortunate to serve on SG over the last two years as the Freshman Class President, and Executive Vice President of College life. Not only was it a wonderful way to serve, but I learned so many things about Wheaton through it that I otherwise would not have. It’s my pleasure to serve on SG again this year as the Student Body Vice President, and I am hopeful that the Lord will bring the same growth and irreplaceable experiences through it this year.

What would you like to achieve by being a part of Student Government this year? I would love for SG to generate life-giving conversation, structural and social change on campus. I look around campus and see so many incredibly blessed and talented individuals, and I would love for Student Government to be able to encourage students to see the potential within themselves and partner with them in creative and educational endeavors to see their talents come into fruition for God’s glory.

When you’re not studying or working on projects, where can you be found on campus? If it’s warm enough, hanging out on the Quad with good friends, usually with good coffee.

Describe Wheaton in three words: an awesome blessing

Favorite Wheatonism: Saga Date!

Most memorable experience at Wheaton: I think my singular most memorable experience while a student at Wheaton was the Gospel Choir Spring Break tour. We went to Fort Lauderdale, FL and sang 14 concerts in 8 days—definitely strenuous and exhausting, but so rewarding and fun!

Favorite CU or campus event: Roller Disco is definitely my favorite CU event. A dance party on roller skates? Both wonderful and hilarious.

How has the Wheaton Community impacted you? At Wheaton I have begun to figure out who the Lord is molding me to become, and how that fits into his plan for me as a woman of God. There are amazing professors here who are willing and excited to mentor students and  peers who are unafraid to push and challenge you.
