Why SG?  Being part of committed teams doing meaningful work has been a highlight of my Wheaton experience. Student Government brings together some of the most passionate, smart, determined and fun people you could ever hope to meet and gives you the incredible opportunity to shape culture on campus.

Why Wheaton? For me, the first big decision was secular school vs. Christian school. Once I decided to go to a Christian college, Wheaton was the obvious choice. I've lost track of how many times I've thanked God for the privilege of being here.

What would you like to see happen as a result of being on Student Government this year? I hope to help create an environment where students dream big and develop a bias for action.

When you’re not studying or working on projects, where can we find you on campus? Working out, hanging out, or hashing out business ideas with friends.

Describe Wheaton in three words:  Rooted. Poised. Vibrant.

Most memorable experience at Wheaton: Joining a dozen students, a leader in the administration, and a brilliant philosopher from the University of Chicago on a weekend retreat to discuss Christianity, leadership, business, and innovation. A student organized the trip and the energy in the air was palpable. The amount I learned and grew in that short time continues to astonish me.

What makes Wheaton unique? The fact that, fundamentally, we're all on the same team. We're on God's team, we're His people. Everyone you see in class, everyone you eat with in the dining hall, shares that common bond and purpose, and it undergirds all of your relationships.

How has the Wheaton Community impacted you? The Wheaton community has taught me how to be vulnerable, how to love people more deeply, how to forge relationships and create memories and be inspired by one another. It's taught me to trust in each other and God, and continually reminded me to re-direct my gaze towards Him.
