Why SG? Because SG affects change on campus, and Student Care is where my passions meet students’ needs
About me: I grew up in the best part of the country (the Pacific Northwest) with one sister who has Asperger's Syndrome. As a first generation Wheaton student, I’ve loved what I’ve been able to study and experience here. After I graduate, I hope to work as a journalist.
Why Wheaton? To understand my faith better and pursue my academic interests in the same place.
What would you like to achieve by being a part of Student Government this year? I want students to know that they are not alone.
When you’re not studying or working on projects, where can you be found on campus? Beamer, probably the SAO.
Describe Wheaton in three words: Dynamic. Challenging. Enriching.
Favorite Wheatonism: Saga dateMost memorable experience at Wheaton: Tie between my year on College Union and Wheaton in the Holy Lands this past summer
What makes Wheaton unique? Professors genuinely care about getting to know their students.
Favorite CU or campus event: Class Films!
How has the Wheaton Community impacted you? It has allowed me to meet the most incredible people and challenged me to think more critically.
