Graduation year: 2014
Hometown: Minnetrista, MN
Why OC? I brought with me many fears and concerns when I transferred here last year, but was surprised to see how the Lord continually provided for me during my first year here at Wheaton. My hope is to make the transfer process one of the greatest parts of Wheaton for new students. Wheaton is an incredible place and I am so excited to have the opportunity to contribute to the new student's Wheaton experience.
About me: Born in the sunshine state of Florida, I grew up spending all my time either in the water or building forts in the woods with my brothers. As the middle child of five with parents who love to entertain, I never had a dull moment at home. I moved to the winter wonderland known as Minnesota during my sophomore year of high school, which was quite the climate adjustment. I'm the first in my family to attend Wheaton College and deciding to follow the Lord's guidance to come here was one of the hardest and best decisions of my life.
Why Wheaton? Wheaton's academic rigor, intentional community, and a geographically diverse student body has always been attractive to me. I wanted my college experience to be a time of growth in all aspects of my life, but when I wasn't being challenged enough at my previous school I realized that Wheaton was the place for me.

What person at Wheaton has had the greatest impact on you and why? Don't think I could single one person out, there are just too many! I thought the hardest part of transferring would be finding a group of friends, but honestly it has been one of the greatest things about Wheaton so far. The day I moved in, there was a group of friends who went out of their way to include me in everything. Seeing them love and reach out to a transfer they didn't know has been one of the sweetest things to experience.
