Why CU? It’s my last year at Wheaton. I want to leave with a bang. And lots of parties.
About me: I grew up in rural Pennsylvania near lots of beautiful farms and smelly cows. I come from a pretty loud and crazy family and have been blessed with parents who love the Lord and love us. As the baby of the family I followed my 3 older brothers everywhere (even all the way to Wheaton College). After Wheaton I would like to attend grad school for psychology and use the integration of counseling and art in order to help bring healing and restoration to women.
What’s your favorite place on campus to connect with friends? The Williston porch!! How would you describe the dinner hour in Anderson Commons to someone outside of the Wheaton Community? Out of contol…. In the best way possible… well, most days. If you had to perform in the Talent Show what would your act be and who would be in it? I would consider myself very talented if I was able to do anything in the talent show without fainting.
Favorite CU event and why? Roller Disco. Need I say more?
How has the community at Wheaton impacted you? I cannot say enough about how my life has been changed by my time at Wheaton. The friendships I have made, the professors who have poured into my life and taught me so much, the variety of experiences that I have had the opportunity to participate in; each of these has helped shape and change me from the person I was when I came to Wheaton to the person I will leave here as.
